Founded in 2017, SCAYL Technologies has grown from a small Somali team into a 9-person practice serving the public sector, telecoms, education, and private enterprises across the Horn of Africa.

Scayl Technologies is a Somali-owned and Somali-operated technology company founded in 2017 in Mogadishu. Over the past nine years, we have built our reputation on one core idea: that digital systems built for Somalia must be designed for Somalia.
They must work without internet. They must run on the devices people actually have. They must respect the languages people actually speak. And they must produce data their owners can trust, audit, and act on.
From this principle, we have grown into a team of 9 professionals, including 6 engineers, serving clients across the Somali public sector, the education sector, the telecommunications industry, and the private sector. We design, build, and deploy mobile applications, web platforms, and management information systems — and we stay engaged after deployment to make sure those systems keep working in the conditions our clients face every day.
